Hallmark Cards is the largest producer of greeting cards in the U.S. A greeting card is typically regarded as a gift given for beginning relationships, as opposed to a serious relationship. If you are in a serious relationship, and give a gift of a card, it is usually accompanied by another gift; usually chocolate, jewelry, flowers or any other gift.
